When should I expect during an eye exam?
Somers Eye Center is the eye testing center and vision testing center for that “eye exam near me”. Appointments are great, but sometimes we can even provide a walk-in eye exam, depending on the schedule. Our Optometrist and Ophthalmologists are experts at eye exams and are eye specialists. Your eye exam will test visual acuity to measure how sharp your vision is. We will also do the glaucoma test using a non-contact tonometer. You can also ask many question during your vision testing, including questions about glasses and contact lenses.
One of the most common concerns for our surrounding area are issues such as glaucoma, AMD, cataracts, cataract surgery, astigmatism as well as macular degeneration and something that is common in people exposed to the sun and work outdoors called an “eye web” or a pterygium. These are amongst the things we look for when you visit our eye testing center in Somers, New York.
